full hero command change
since we get full hero team, i saw alot of posts with: would be stupid/annoying to have like 7 flags at your radar
i thought about this some time ago, and within 10 minutes i got an idea which may work
what if we get the flags either "at the end of heroes names" or "right next to the hero panel" ?
that way you can flag them much better and faster, and no problem around your radar
this would also be great even now for 3 heroes
of course the "all flag" should stay as it is, as we will use that alot too, and just 1 flag on the radar wont be that bad
although they could also put that 1 at the top of the party window, above all names
that way its more compact, and still doable
i hope people will like this suggestion
it's a little late, cuz i had this in mind for some months by now
well, thats my idea and suggestion for full hero party
EDIT: "at the end of heroes names" should be "at the end of the hero's health bar"

It didnt even cross my mind how I would manage 7 heroes, but I like this suggestion, as it would be the only logical thing to do.

/signed. that way you don't have to memorize which order your heroes are in to correspond to which flag you have to use that is on the compass. great idea.

Didn't even think about this until you just brought it up. Managing seven heroes is going to be a pain.
/signed for a great idea

Completely logical, efficient, and looks like it would be easy to use. What more could one ask for?

Might be a good idea to combine forces on this problem as there is another thread with similar ideas, though I think yours was posted a few hours earlier than the other.

It seems I've been thinking along the same lines as Ayuhmii.
I made a mockup of what I think would be a good 7+ hero UI...
The compass buttons would control party behaviour with the old party flag, and 3 formation options:- Tight (default, as they are now)
- Spread Out (no party member in adjacent range of another)
- Attack (martial heroes move several paces ahead of you and move to attack any called targets)
Although the last one would probably need some modification for when the player is melee. I'm nearly always a caster, so I'm not sure how that would work best.
The rest being pretty self-explanatory.
Thoughts? Improvements?
